The Opera House in Toronto — a converted cinema from 1909, all red brick and iron bones. Sina Bathaie takes the stage as the last daylight disappears from the tall windows facing east, and the room shifts from warm amber to deep blue.
This is an indoor set that breathes like an outdoor one. Bathaie weaves Persian-influenced melodic techno through six hours of carefully paced storytelling, the architecture of the room shaping every reverb tail. Peak arrives around 2 AM, percussive and relentless, before the long descent.
